Welcome to Greg Moyes Amazing Homepage!
Hi, welcome to my webpage. This is my fifth year teaching at Combs High School. I previously have served in the United States Navy (Go Navy!) in the Intelligence field within Navy Special Warfare (SEALs). I have served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Dubai, Bahrain, and traveled all over the Middle East, and lived and trained Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analysts in Lagos, Nigeria. We live in the greatest country on the planet and are blessed to live here.
Prior to my Navy Career, I worked for the Phoenix Police Department as their lead intelligence analyst. Additionally, I worked for the Utah Jazz during the John Stockton - Karl Malone years. I love spending time with my family who have all either graduated from Combs or teach here at Combs. In the Spring of 2019, my family and I hiked to Everest Base Camp and planted a Combs HS flag there. I love fishing, camping, the outdoors, and play anything sports-related. I am a huge Angels and Cowboys fan!

Almost all of the student's work will be done in the classroom. Homework is only created by the student if they don't complete the assignment in class.
Students are allowed to have retakes on tests and quizzes. It is important that students study up on the questions they have missed to improve their overall scores.
I believe students learn in an environment where they trust their teacher and there is respect that goes both ways. Coming from a military and team environment (leave no one behind), I truly believe in every student and I will provide every opportunity for them to succeed. I expect students to come prepared to learn, have fun, and be respectful of other students in the classroom. We all have challenges and difficulties in life and I will always listen to the student.
