Mrs. Carpenter

Hello! My name is Mrs. Carpenter and I studied Biology and Society at ASU.  I did my Senior Project in the Psychology department in the Stress and Memory Lab.  My husband and I graduated from ASU together and then moved to Pittsburgh, PA.  where I worked at UPMC in both the hospital and research settings.   We also enjoyed upstate New York for a year before returning to sunny Arizona.  We miss the fall season, but not the winter season there.  We have 4 children who keep us up to date with the latest Minecraft updates, Dog Man books, and YouTube Sensations.

I’m excited to be at Combs High School to teach Biology and Integrated Science. I hope to interest the students in science to keep them engaged and learning.  My students should always be working to improve their learning by thinking critically and carefully as they learn to view the world through a micro and macro view of the world around us.
