Hello and Welcome Students, Parents, and Communities:
 
About me
I am Mr. Brown from Coolidge, Arizona, and I am the Quantitative Reasoning (or QR) math teacher at the JO Combs High School. As a hobby, I usually dedicate myself to many hours of practicing different fields of mathematics during my free time at home. I have been playing concert piano for 28 years, and I love it. I enjoy working with students and being a part of their education, and watching my students succeed is my top priority. This will be my 11th-year of teaching in education, and my second year at JO Combs High School.
 
I love spending time with my family and my 3 beautiful, loving children. I have been married for 12 years to my beautiful wife Elizabeth. I am fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in the Spanish language.
 
I am super excited about getting to work with every single one of you (my student) and your parent(s) as partners in your education. Thank you for choosing me as your math teacher this 2021 - 2022 school year.

Educational Philosophy:
 
I believe that the purpose of education in school is for students to experience learning in many possible ways. I also agree with Van Brummelen, (2009), the aim of the school is learning and teaching in the classroom, and teaching should promote learning in many effective, sufficient ways for students to succeed. However, learning does occurs through practical experiences and individual studies.
