Gifted Testing for our younger Coyotes

The J.O. Combs Unified School District is committed to identifying students who qualify for placement in the gifted cluster classroom. The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) is the assessment used to determine whether a child qualifies as gifted. If your child is already identified as gifted there is no need to have them retested. Additionally, all 3rd grade students will be screened for further gifted testing in the spring.

If you would like your child to be evaluated for gifted the Fall testing for grades Kindergarten - 6th grade will occur at Combs Traditional Academy beginning at 9:00AM on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Parents may check in for testing in the school’s library beginning at 8:30AM, where they will be able to wait for their child.
