Coyote Weekly Update 5/11/18

The semester is rapidly coming to a close with final exams for all our students in the next seven school days. It is time to finish all projects, papers and turn in all assignments.
For all parents/guardians and students:
· We value our guests and community on our campus. To support your arrival to offices and classrooms, all guests will be required to show their state-issued ID in the main office to receive their visitors pass. Also, the front office staff will also call the person you need to see to confirm their availability to meet with you. If you have questions about this, please do not hesitate to ask.
· Advanced Placement testing began May 8 and will run through May 18th. Tests are several days a week from 8 a.m. to noon.We will silence the bells in the building that the tests are given in so that students have uninterrupted quite to test.
· Senior final exams and their last days before graduation are May 17th and 18th.We will not run a special schedule; our seniors will take their tests in their regularly scheduled classes.
· Graduation is right around the corner. Here are some things you need to know:
o The ceremony begins at 7 p.m. n Tuesday, May 22 at the Coyote Stadium
o Parking lots at CHS and Ranch Elementary will open at 5:30 p.m. --this year a shuttle bus will circle the parking lots to provide drop off at the main entrance of the stadium
§ The shuttle will only be a delivery service. Unfortunately, as families and guests leave the event, the Pinal County Sheriffs are in charge of traffic control and have asked that shuttle bus not operate so that guests can leave in a timely manner.
o There are a few items item that are not allowed on campus: coolers, noisemakers, e-cigarettes and vape pens and other non-school approved items.
o Handicap parking is available near the main entrance to the stadium. Handicap seating is on the football field.

o Seating is on a first-come basis.
